Week #7: WebQuests

This week, we have three objectives:

1. Discuss the reading from Fryer (2011) Chapter 3 Audio and the success of enhanced podcasting as a means of helping students learn to communicate using audio and images. What are some classroom practical uses of the podcast?
2. Surf through WebQuests online to get a feel for what all is involved in this technology. Be able to define WebQuests.
3. Create your own WebQuest as questgarden.com (30-day free account) and begin developing it DUE 25 March at the start of class. Link your WebQuest to your blog using an HTML Java Script gadget; this can serve as a shortcut for you to continue editing your WebQuest until you finish your project, and then, change the link to the finished address.

Remember, your Digital Movie is due at the start of class Monday, March 18. We'll each share our movie and use the rubric we designed to evaluate the movies.
